Double Tapered Basket is an economical plate dowel basket assembly for transferring loads across saw-cut contraction joints. The double tapered design is engineered to optimize steel at locations where it is most critical and it encourages the best concrete consolidation beneath the dowel over any competing plate dowel basket systems.
